This method is sometimes good for doing Disney in the busy season. But Universal is a much smaller scope. And if you have a seven-day pass, I really wouldn’t bother. You’ll do well with a very simple plan, such as:
First day, Universal Studios, the second day, Wet n Wild, the third day a break day to see a movie and wander around Orlando, the fourth day, Islands of Adventure. Then see where you prefer to spend your last days based on what you didn’t cover and what you want to do again!
The best Disney planning site is at
and they also have some good stuff on Universal.

dont plan….you are meant to be enjoying without trying to rush everything in……when you do universal studios/islands of adventure make a day of it then stay and watch a movie there( the cinema is on the left on the second floor before you exit on the conveyor belt) if you are planning shopping on i-drive there is also another cinema at pointe orlando. wet n wild is worth spending a whole day if the weather is right just to take the weight off your feet and chill. you wont need a whole day at seaworld. city of orlando aint much to see. picked up marriage licence there and spent only 1 hour there after. careful using the lynx bus to get to the city you have to go through downtown orlando. bit nervous going through the ghetto. use a mears shuttle to take you there and back. you shouldnt have to wait to long for the rides as long as you dont clash with hallowscream at universal studios…if you find you have a spare day it is well worth going to busch garden at tampa bay….if you bought a 5 park flexticket it would include that and also free transport there and back. hope this helps, any more help needed please e-mail me at….we go there at least 2 times a year for the past 8 years….i know my florida stuff….should be living there really(if only)

First of all, how long are you going to stay in Orlando?
Then, buy your theme park tickets.
If you’re planning to buy 7 day pass, to be honest, Universal really don’t need that many days to finish all the rides.
There’s only 2 parks. Depending on the days you are coming in October, the park might get a little crowded considering school’s almost out and tourists are flocking Orlando.
However, Universal has Express Passes. If you buy your tickets online, you could get a cheaper deal and Express Passes could be bought with a cheaper price based on the dates that are posted.
I’d say, if you want to experience everything in Universal, it’ll probably take just 2 or 3 days. Wet n Wild is a small park. The lines for slides are pretty long but you should be able to do everything in a day. They open at 10am and closes at 6pm I believe during the winter time.
As for the movie you wish to fit in your schedule, you could all do that in Universal Cineplex. It’s at CityWalk and you’ll see it when you first walk into Universal.
The best part about your vacation is that all these attractions are close by together. Wet n Wild is just down the road from Universal. Heck, they’re on the same road!
Then you’ve got International Drive to walk around during the night if you wish. There are bunch of restaurants, WonderWorks is down the road, Ripley’s, Titanic…etc. You’ll have a blast!
It’s all pretty close by so you have nothing to worry about. Spend all your time in the theme park. I’m pretty sure you’ll get to do everything and see Orlando.
Good luck!
