Best way to get from Disney World to Universal Orlando?

you might want to see if they have any buses that go that way. by the time you get a taxi you are looking at the same price as renting a small car.
i know you said renting a car isnt an option…you can get small cars for like 20-25 bucks a day.
sometimes they upgrade you for free
when we go down there we always rent a car because of the crazy drivers if they hit the rental im not worried about it, i always get the damage waver. and we just drove from disney to Universal.
if you will be going several times there really isnt a “cheap” way to get there… i would ask your service desk in your resort about inexpensive ways to get from point a to point b and find out if any bus services go out that way…..
its kind of hard to do siteseeing when you dont have your own ride down there. things are spread out….

taxi will be the best way. buses will take forever.

You could take a taxi - or ask at the resort concierge - I think a bus for Universal may pick up from Downtown Disney.
