We’re traveling with a 4 year old and a 14 month old to Orlando on May 1-4. We’re going to Magic Kingdom on the 2nd. But for the rest of our stay, we have no plan. We only want to go to 1 park(MK) and want to do something else in Orlando and Kissimmee area.

WOW - with such little ones, you’ll have your hands full. Sea World is a wonderful place for the youngsters - they will go crazy seeing all the animals. There are some rides for them as well and that park is not as crazy as Disney parks. DON’T DO UNIVERSAL STUDIOS - not at all good for your kids’ ages. If you can get to a beach, that could be fun and relaxing as well.

Personally I would reccomend SeaWorld! Kids LOVE it! They have lots of kid rides and great kid area.
Also the shows are top notch, and pretty amazing! Blue Horizons the dolphin show is an amazing show that is Cirque meets dolphins, Believe the Killer whale show is fantastic and will have you wanting to become a trainer. The Sea Lion show is hillarious! Also you can get some cheap tickets to SeaWorld at I know that their ticket comes with a second day free, so you could fill up another day that way!
I hope this helps!

money or not, you have to do Sea World. The 4 year old will love shamu………it is fairly close to Disney, but yes, it does charge amusement park prices, although I can’t remember what the current ticket price is. Getting around in Orlando is no problem since practically every hotel has a shuttle van. If it wasn’t for the 14 month old, I’d recommend Medieval Times (this is an eating place that is designed to resember one of those old jousting tournament, knights, falconry, etc). But I’m afraid the 14 month will either be scared, or bored and restless.
If you have a car, rental or otherwise, take a day and ride over to Daytona Beach. It is a couple of hours, maybe less, and you really don’t have to go on the beach itself to get a feel for it. Or if you went slightly south of Daytona, Cape Canaveral is available. They have a fantastic tour there that takes you inside the VAB (Assembly Building) where the shuttle is kept, etc. Also, in that general area, there are some nice swimming spots, and of course every hotel down there has at least one pool, most have several pools. Finally, you could go online and go a google search for something like “things to do in Orlando”…and there are MANY MANY websites that can give you good ideas of things to do. Enjoy your stay in Florida
