I LIVE IN FLORIDA!! December is a great time to come. We don’t have white Christmas’s here, so the weather is just PERFECT! Although, I can’t give you a list of places to go to. Well the Kennedy Space Center is pretty cool. Disney World?

The first 2 weeks of December are an excellent time to visit! If you go closer to Christmas, you’ll be dealing with high crowds and more expensive hotel costs. So definitely consider early December. It can be quite cool though and the ocean won’t be warm enough to swim in. However Disney Resort pools are kept at a balmy 82 degrees year round, so you’ll still be able to swim if you like. If swimming at the beach is a must, and you’d still like to avoid high crowds, I recommend visiting in late Sept or early to mid October. The beaches are still plenty warm then! My two favorite beaches near Orlando are Cocoa Beach (approximately 45 minutes from Disney) and Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota (approximately 1 hr 45 minutes south along the I-4 from Disney). If your family enjoys big waves and body surfing, etc… I recommend Cocoa. If you prefer a more caribbean feel with turqiouse water and calm waves, I recommend Siesta Key. Both are a lot of fun.
