Can you work as a disney animator and live in another state other than cali?

I want to become a disney animator, but I live in florida and the studio here is long gone. Im really dont want to live all the way in a state on the other side of the country, away from family friends and everything I know just to become an animator. I was wondering, can you work for them from home or something? Fax all work to them and stuff?

no. you would have to be at the studio, and i think it’d be impossible to fax your frames. i’m sure there are other wonderful animation studios in flordia you could work at if you really don’t want to move. just hope disney keeps their 2D studios open. good luck!
